Level of Technology Integration (LoTi) SURVEYS

http://www.nheon.org/oet/loti

======================================

The Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi) survey is moving into its final stages. We are in the process of making phone calls to schools which have not yet participated in this statewide survey. Please be aware that any school district which received a Technology Literacy Challenge Fund (TLCF) Round 5 award agreed, as part of their acceptance of the award, to participate by having 75% of their teachers and administrators take the survey. If you are not sure of your district’s status, or if you have any questions about the LoTi, please contact Dan Cherry – dcherry@ed.state.nh.us  at the NHDOE.  Over 7,000 NH educators have taken the survey so far, but there are still many school districts who need to participate. Dan is available to help with any questions, and is available to help with the roll out process. You can find more information about the LoTi survey on the NHEON web site (http://www.nheon.org/oet/loti)

ThinkQuest USA – Calling All Judges

www.thinkquest.org/tqusa

============================================

Many of you are familiar with the ThinkQuest programs for students around the world. A new program launched this year, ThinkQuest USA, is in need of volunteer judges for this year’s competition. This is a good opportunity to get acquainted with this new program.  Judges will help judge web sites created by student teams in the ThinkQuest USA contest.  TQ anticipates that each volunteer will probably only judge a total of only five or six sites.  Judges must be at least 21 years old and should have some knowledge of K-12 education and technology.  IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, please forward your name, email address, and phone number to chiggins@ed.state.nh.us as soon as possible.
