Periodically Updating
============================================

The periodical database provided to all school and public libraries, by the New Hampshire State Library, is EBSCO. Since this is a change from last year and since junior high and elementary school libraries were not previously eligible for this service, the New Hampshire Educational Media Association (NHEMA) is partnering with the New Hampshire State Library (NHSL) and EBSCO to provide hands-on sessions. Librarians and library assistants are invited to the following locations to learn, explore and inquire.

Seats will be filled on a first come first served basis dependent on the number of computers available.

Course 262K ** November 14 ** Pinkerton Academy Library ** 3:30-5pm
Directions: http://www.mv.com/ipusers/pinkerton/Maps/PAMAPS.htm
Hostess: Marilyn Dent

McAuliffe Share-A-Thon Presenters Needed!!!!
============================================

The McAuliffe Technology Conference planners are looking for educators for the Share-A-Thon. “The Share-A-Thon has been one of the highlights of the NH Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference for the past four years.  In 1998 we had 24 presenters, in 1999, 2000, 2001 we doubled that number.  The theme is casual, grassroots presentations on "regular" technology topics.  Presenters are mostly classroom teachers showing off their projects, interests and discoveries.  Attendees walk around and chat with presenters at their mini-booths (like a science fair).  The whole process is very comfortable and easy for all parties involved.”

Share-a-thon participation is compensated with a free day at the conference so it is a "win-win". This year there will be a double session on one day only - Thursday morning, December 5. Sign up and more details are online at http://db.concord.k12.nh.us/shareathon/
